Full sarga summary

Rama discloses to his brothers the people's scandal against Sita and the unbearable infamy it brings, though he knows her pure, her innocence proven by fire and attested by the gods -- dreading dishonour above all, he commands Lakshmana to take Sita on the morrow and abandon her near Valmiki's hermitage on the Ganga, forbidding all argument, and withdraws sighing in grief.
