Rama reaches the westward-flowing Sarayu, where Brahma descends with the gods and countless celestial chariots
Full sarga summary
Rama reaches the westward-flowing Sarayu, where Brahma descends with the gods and countless celestial chariots -- a heavenly voice welcomes him as Vishnu and bids him enter the form he wills, and Rama with his brothers passes into the effulgence of Vishnu -- at his request Brahma grants the followers the world of Santanika, the monkeys and bears resume their divine forms, and all who plunge into the Sarayu at Gopratara cast off their bodies and ascend to heaven, Rama returning to the highest heaven.
